1. ELIGIBILITY
Participation is open to:

• Solo artists only
• Individuals based in the UAE
• Artists submitting original English-language songs

Participants must have full rights to the material they submit.

2. SONG REQUIREMENTS
All submissions must:

• Be original compositions (no covers or adaptations)
• Contain no explicit language or inappropriate content
• Be free from unlicensed third-party material (e.g. beats, instrumentals)

3. SUBMISSION FORMAT
Each entry must include:

• A one-take, stripped-down (acoustic) performance
• Clear and presentable video quality
• Visible performance by the artist

Optional: A produced/demo version may be included for reference only and will not be judged.

4. ENTRY PROCESS

• Entry fee: AED 25 per song
• One Submission Per Artist Only

To qualify, participants must:

• Follow 1 Big House on Facebook and Instagram
• Share the official contest post and tag 1 Big House
• Complete the official submission form

Failure to meet any requirement may result in disqualification.

5. CONTEST FORMAT

• The contest is conducted fully online
• Runs on a quarterly basis
• Each cycle will select:
  • Four (4) Jury Winners
  • One (1) Audience Choice winner

Selected artists may be considered for a live showcase

6. JUDGING

Entries will be evaluated based on:

• Songwriting
• Performance
• Originality
• Emotional impact

Production quality will not be considered.

Audience Choice will be determined by verified engagement. Any artificial engagement may result in disqualification.

7. PRIZES
Cash prizes are funded from entry fees and may vary per cycle.

Additional opportunities may include:

• Artist features
• Future performance consideration
• Development and collaboration opportunities

8. RIGHTS & USAGE
All participants retain full ownership of their work.

By submitting, participants grant 1 Big House a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to:

• Share
• Promote
• Feature submitted content

This applies across digital and marketing platforms related to the contest.

9. DISQUALIFICATION
Entries may be disqualified for:

• Violation of rules
• Incomplete or inaccurate submissions
• Use of unlicensed material
• Artificial manipulation of engagement

All decisions made by 1 Big House are final.

10. GENERAL
1 Big House reserves the right to:

• Adjust timelines if necessary
• Refine contest mechanics for future editions

Participation in the contest constitutes acceptance of these terms.
